MEMOIR OF WEDNESDAY 2

Supposed to be petang tu jugak kami satu keluarga pergi rumah Mak Long aku
But then, when I figured out that my little brother were on a symptom of bacterial infection in lungs,
I made up a decision to cancel the plan and ask kak Wa to took him up to the hospital at instant without delay. Mak ,Kak Wa, the innocent Zahir and I.
Tapi aku tawu sesungguhnya mustahil untuk aku suruh adik aku dilayan dan diperiksa secepat mungkin memandangkan aku pergi hospital kerajaan yang aku tawu ramai org BERSABAR menunggu turn.
So, how im gonna do?
I really have to plan wisely. WISELY NURBAYAH…
I stick on my witch mind to just entering the emergency cases area and and told the medical staff everything.
My brother is an OKU, he can’t wait for any longer as he is not comfortable to sit on his wheelchair anymore. I really need to see the doctor at instant. I made up a nervous and ‘seposen’ face but yes, I do nervous.
The medical staffs ask some this n that, I just told them everything. My brother had some long febrile illness, he cough and muntah with few bloods.  His body temperature keeps rising at night.
So at instant, they check his blood and oxygen level. Few minutes later, the Indian doctor came up and took him to the emergency bed. The Malay doctor came up and asks like the one before, and surprisingly he just hears and sat on his chair back. Phuiii. Tanya dan pergi, do I look like a counter?
I just don’t understand his agenda, but later he came back and told me to leave as only 1 kin are able to accompany my brother as we are on the emergency room. Then I just told my Mak to wait for my adik. I take a leave.
It takes a long time my brother in there. Kak Wa and I kept worrying the same things as my sister knew about my friend sister that passed away due to the lungs infection. We just pray for nothing bad gonna happen. We just hope for the best.
But then, Mak told us that doctor figured up that Zahir having some bacterial infection in lungs. I knew that for the people that suffering for Cerebral Palsy, any disease that occurred to them will threaten their life. Their immune system was not efficient enough to encounter the disease like the normal person does. The most threaten disease that I knew is Bacterial Infection in Lungs. I don’t want my brother to face the same things like adik Alin does. I am not ready to lose my own and only little brother. I really need to ensure that he is safe and he will be safe because he must to.

30 minutes in the emergency room, mak said the doctor give him a pine of nacl (sodium chloride) or we called it ‘masuk air’ and a pine of blood if im not mistaken. He was admitted to the ward as the doctor needs to give antibiotic to him by IV (intravenous). More efficient and fastest recovered medicine. Mak and kak Wa went home as they need to take my brother stuff, pampers, milk nestum and etc while I accompany him in the ward. He looks uncomfortable as it is not his usual place to stay. He is never been in the ward for a long time. I start to feel bad.
Kak wa came with mak and ayah, mak spend the night in the ward with me. The rest went home. Luckily the nurse is so linient to let both of us to stay because usually only 1 kin are able to spend the night there. Due to my brother disabilities, they compromise. Zahir admit in ward for a week as they need to finish up the antibiotic. He takes some gases inhaler to releasing his thicken mucus. The doctor said that there is a change in his lungs. But soon, he seems better. We went home on Tuesday. So hey nurse, if u read through this blog, we are so thankful for all your deeds.
I knew there is a hikmah for all that happens. Mak make some friends. I meet a Malay doctor that looks like P. Ramlee. Ahaaah. I meet the nicest Indian doctor ever. They were both good in attitude with some humours inside. Thanks for all the good deeds. I will always remember the memoir of Wednesday.
